Feeder Packages
ProMinent Feeders have a multi-pitch screw suitable for capacities up to 1500 l/h and are fitted with conditioning arms to provide an even feed rate and minimise bridging.

Feeders can be purchased separately or included in complete system packages c/w wetting units, hoppers, mixing tanks, spout heaters, variable speed drives, stirrers, bag loaders, slide gates, dust extractors, control panels, loss of weight recording, bulk bag handling, vacuum transfer, metering and transfer pumps to suit your applications. Lime
We offer small lime dosing packages in 2 ways. Firstly with a constant transfer rate and we vary the solution strength in proportion to a 4-20 mA signal by varying the powder feeder. Secondly a constant solution is made up and a metering pump doses in proportion to a
4-20 mA signal.
Powder Activated Carbon
ProMinent Australia have supplied many Powdered Activated Carbon preparation and dosing packages. Our preference is always to supply package as constant transfer and vary the PAC solution strength in proportion to the flow signal.

For smaller systems we offer our locally designed and manufactured vacuum loader for unloading from 20 kg bags. For larger water supplies we offer with bulk bag unloaders, with crane and hoist (or suitable for fork lift loading) flexible conveyors and storage hoppers.

Sodium Silicofluoride
ProMinent offer sodium silicofluoride packages designed in accordance with the NSW Fluoride Act. A typical sodium silicofluoride package might operate as follows:

From the storage hopper the powder is fed via a ProMinent dry chemical feeder into the mixing tank. The mixing tank is equipped with a high speed stirrer, overflow and drain pipework and has a retention time of 10 minutes. The solution is then transferred to the injection point by a Spectra positive displacement pump all controlled by an Allen Bradley PLC.
Potassium Permanganate
ProMinent offer Potassium Permanganate packages that are easy to load, mix transfer and meter KMnO4 into water supplies for the removal of manganese and iron.

ProMinent Australia can supply a variety of packages to suit your requirement including batching tank, dosing tank, vacuum loader, transfer pump and metering pumps. For potassium permanganate we would normally offer a preparation and dosing two tank package for making up to a maximum 2.5% solution.
Flouridation
Fluoridation of drinking water remains the most significant dental health program in New South Wales and Australia. The advantage of water fluoridation is that the entire community benefits from the preventative measure, regardless of age, socioeconomic level, educational achievement, individual motivation, or the availability of dentists.
Fluoride packages and installations have to meet strict guide lines. In New South Wales where ProMinent Australia have supplied more than 50 systems, there is a fluoride code, ‘Code of Practice for the fluoridation of Water Supplies Act 1957‘.This code was published by the Oral Health Branch of the Dept of Health and revised in April 2018. This code has also been accepted by other Australian states as the bench mark for fluoride installations.
Fluoride is available commercially in 3 different ways, 2 are powders the other a liquid. Each display different concentrations of available fluoride ions & solubility.
